Lahori Cuisine

Lahori Cuisine is born from the many civilizations that lived in the area, as well as the different resources and trade routes these societies participated in. Many meals are meat-based and take inspiration from Iranian and Turkish meals, as well as inspiration from Karachi and southern regions of Pakistan and India! LAHORI FISH

This dish consists of white fish fried in chickpea flour, topped with spices and local seasonings such as coriander seeds and red chili power. It is served with a tomato salad and with mint yogurt sauce.

LAHORI ROAST

Similar to a Sunday Roast and to Lahori Fish, this Lahori dish consists of a seasoned whole chicken roasted for hours over low heat, served with a green leaf salad, roasted potatoes, and fried onions. It is also occasionally paired with a thick buttered naan.
